Our registered address is recorded in the Dutch Commercial Register under the KvK number above, and we will give it to you on request by email before or after you buy anything.

Free use

Pro

Pro costs EUR 3.99 per month, including VAT. The price you see is the price you pay. Any VAT that applies in your country is already contained in that amount and is shown separately on your invoice.

Billing

Eligible verified accounts can start Pro with one 7-day free trial per account and payment method. A payment method is required before the trial begins, but the amount due at checkout is EUR 0. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the first EUR 3.99 monthly payment is charged automatically after day 7 and the subscription then renews monthly.

You can cancel during the trial and pay nothing. Pro remains available until the end of the trial. After a paid month starts, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. The Screenshot Files billing controls and Stripe Customer Portal let you manage payment methods, invoices, and cancellation. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Permanently deleting your ScreenshotFiles account cancels an active Pro subscription immediately and removes access to remaining paid or trial time. Download anything you want to keep before confirming deletion.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your bank or card statement will show SCREENSHOTFILES.

Your right to cancel within 14 days

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. Pro is a service that starts as soon as you subscribe, and by subscribing you ask us to start it immediately. Under European consumer law that means that once the service has been fully performed for a period, the withdrawal right no longer covers that period, and if you withdraw part-way through you owe a proportionate amount for what you used.

We do not want you calculating proportions, so we apply something simpler and more generous, set out below. Nothing in these terms limits the statutory rights you have as a consumer, and where our policy gives you less than the law does, the law wins.

To withdraw, email [email protected] with the email address on the account. A clear statement is enough; you do not have to use a particular form. We confirm in writing.

Refund policy

Send refund requests to [email protected]. We reply within 14 days and pay refunds back to the original payment method, through Stripe, at no cost to you.

Price changes

If we change the price of Pro, we will tell existing subscribers by email at least 30 days before the new price applies to them. You can cancel before it takes effect and the change will never apply to a period you already paid for.

Acceptable use

Service changes

We may improve, replace, or discontinue features. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes whenever practical.

Availability and backups

We work to keep the service reliable but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. Keep local copies of important screenshots. To the extent permitted by law, Screenshot Files is not liable for indirect losses or lost data.

Your content stays yours

You keep every right in the screenshots and files you upload. We claim no ownership of them and we do not use them to train anything. We process them only to run the service for you: storing them, converting them, showing them to you, and serving the share links you create. That permission ends when you delete the file or your account.

Complaints, applicable law and disputes

If something is wrong, email [email protected] first. We answer complaints within 14 days. If we need longer to investigate, we will say so and give you an expected date.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer resident in another EU or EEA country, that choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your own country.

Disputes we cannot resolve together may be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and we will only sue you in the courts of your own country. Consumers with a cross-border complaint can get free help from the European Consumer Centre network at eccnederland.nl.
